Tenant Improvement
We were tasked to remodel the existing primary 3-fixture bath, kitchen|nook & add a new 126sf deck at the rear yard. The primary highlight of this project was to provide enough natural light in the area of work & create a complete open plan experience between the living, dining & kitchen|nook. Above all, our clients were so elated about the improved living conditions of their home & we are glad to have contributed to that experience.
To achieve this, we substituted the load-bearing wall between the dining & kitchen|nook with a 4x12 glulam beam above & a 42" high half wall below, capped with a beautiful 2" thick solid wood countertop to match the existing interior wood finish. As part of the overall user experience & increased living quality. We added a 60" wide double-hinged glass door to a new 126sf decking area for outdoor family gatherings, which also allowed for a perfect connection to the rear yard lawn, patio & grill area.
